Accor, resort operator in Australia and New Zealand, introduced the appointment of David Younger to the function of Chief Sustainability Officer and Director of ESG for Accor Pacific.
David has intensive ESG, industrial and operational expertise gained over a few years from working within the journey business in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the UK. Previous to becoming a member of Accor, David labored with the oneworld alliance as World Program Director Sustainability and was beforehand the Government Supervisor of Sustainability and ESG on the Qantas Group. Over the past 20 years David has held senior working roles with Qantas as Government Supervisor Business at Qantas Loyalty, and Chief Working Officer Qantas Catering and Inflight Companies. He additionally spent 7 years in London as a Board Member and Government Director of the listed Journey Group Plc, a worldwide journey catering and provide firm. At the moment a Director of YHA Australia and a Trustee of the Golden Stave Basis, David is the previous President of the Aviation Sustainability Discussion board.
